What’s the latest
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven,” Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, and how we continue to experience that in Woods Outreach. We have the season of bi-lingual Bible studies, the season of our booth at community events, the season of language classes, and the season of outreach into the community. Each season is beautiful and encouraging!
MINISTRIES – November and December afforded us the seasons of language classes and community outreach. Our fall session came to an end on November 19th with the majority of our students doing a presentation of what they have learned in class. We had incredible presentations including a tour of the library, Art class instruction, how to make an origami boat, a story, a skit, a poem, and songs – and all in the opposite of their mother tongue. It was an enjoyable and inspiring evening, one not soon to forget!!
Language Classes – As previously mentioned, the fall session ended right before Thanksgiving, giving us December to focus on community events and invite the students to take part. The new session will begin in January, with extra classes available, as well.
Local Events – Our Director of Operations did a fabulous job in finding us places where we could Christmas carol to the community. Within one week we caroled for a total of 12 hours in 9 locations, with 16 different people involved, and handed out 72 gift bags to those with whom we came in contact. It was SUCH a joy to bring the message of Christ’s birth and mission to the businesses and streets of Two Rivers and to see the community respond so positively.
What’s ahead
LANGUAGE CLASSES - We are planning a “class trip” to Spain in the spring. We are ready to book our tickets. We will be staying in Cordoba province for 10 days. This is a huge
endeavor on the ministry’s part, so please pray for all the details to come together smoothly and effectively.
BOARD MEETINGS - We are so grateful to the Lord for the members of the Board who volunteer their time and expertise to faithfully guide this ministry as we seek God’s plan. Each meeting is conducted effectively and in unity, which is a real blessing. Pray for each member as they take part.
COMMUNITY EVENTS - At the writing of this newsletter, the New Year is here, and already events are taking place. Please pray with us as we make plans for future events in Two Rivers and the surrounding area. There are some tentative plans for spring events.

Praise the Lord for a very positive reception by the community of Two Rivers through the events and invitations for future ones!
Praise the Lord for plans coming together for the trip to Spain and for those committed to being a part of this adventure!
Praise the Lord for the effort and enthusiasm on the part of the students who attend class each week. They are such a blessing!
