July & August Newsletter 2026

“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)

What’s the latest

Throughout the summer, we celebrated our nation along with the World’s Cup. May-July Language Class session came to an end – our best attended session to date, averaging 18 students each week. We ended with a language version of the “World’s Cup”, and our students scored big time!! We saw the Lord use some challenging situations in the ministry to help us minister to those in our circle of contacts. As we get to know them more, they show trust in us and ultimately in the God whom we serve. Together, we are planting Seed, and the Lord is drawing people to Himself with His loving kindness and personal care.

It has been a blessing to have an assistant for the classes as well as seasoned students who mentor some of the newer students. Their part is invaluable and brings variety to the classroom, for which we are grateful. It is also encouraging to see students care about the ministry and one another through personal contributions – be it snacks, nametags, class supplies, and/or monetary donations for the ministry. These acts of kindness show a commitment ultimately to what God is doing. We had a language game day in mid August, a planning meeting at the Lake, Board meetings in person, and a “scouting trip” for future language class locations.
